Kiln Log:

I will log at the top of the hour here what temperature, gas, damper, and notes pertaining to the firing.

  • 6:30pm -58ºF Top/ 62ºF Bottom, Started the Kiln - South pilots/ burner lit.
    Candle, damper at 1”, air low

  • 7:00pm -261ºF Top/ 90ºF Bottom, Candle, damper at 1”, air low

  • 8:00pm -425ºF Top/ 157ºF Bottom, Gas 0.5#, damper at 1.5”, air low

  • 9:00pm -663ºF Top/ 289ºF Bottom, Gas 1#, damper at 2”, air low +
