Purchase Coleman Clay from Rat City Studios. When you do, Kiln loading/ firing fees are included in the cost of the clay. This includes a single bisque and a single glaze fire for each piece you drop off. We do not refire artwork.

Our sculpture instructor Joe Wilkinson recommends this for sculpting or Raku!
A fine tooth/ slightly gritty throwing and handbuilding clay body.
Will resist firing stress and gain in strength as the mullite develops, making it excellent for raku firings.

Coleman Raku also offers great performance at higher temps as well. In Cone 10 reduction, the color will turn more medium/light grey. At Cone 10 the shrinkage is 13% and the absorption is 0.1% (Batch 092724-1B).
