Helper Share in Soda Kiln

HELPER SHARE

Those requesting a helper share must have first participated in at least one firing.
We have a waitlist. You will be emailed when a helper share is available.

Participants who commit to assist with loading & cleaning AND unloading & cleaning will get one share in the kiln as a bonus for the extra investment. Helper shares will be offered to those who have participated frequently as a way to deepen their knowledge.

Helpers will receive guidance as we unload the kiln. It is requested that helpers be timely, attentive to the artwork, and thorough in their participation. This is a fun way to learn more and be part of the interworkings of the process. You need to be able to move heavy kiln shelves, carry multiple fragile items in an efficient manner, and be careful while doing so.
