Individual Lessons in Clay
Individual classes for studio members or weekly class participants
There is a $65 fee for 45 minutes (or $95 for non-studio members). Plan for the private lesson to work like this... You come 15 minutes early to the arranged lesson and settle in. (Get your clay wedged, tools and water ready, workspace adjusted) / 45 minutes of instruction time / 15 minutes clean up time after instruction. You are welcome to stay and practice if you are a renting studio member or in a weekly class. Please bring your clay from class. Your pieces will be fired with class firings.
It is an additional $10 per person additional participants in the lesson (up to three total participants who are already studio members/ currently taking a class).
To Purchase a private lesson please first arrange with me an agreed upon date and time. I will then send you a link to the purchase options.
Individual classes for non-studio members or non-students
These lessons will be arranged verbally after we talk about what you are looking for and your goals. If you just want to try clay, this might be just the introduction you need. This private lesson time may also be a good way to focus on a specific skill that you want to learn.
There is a $95 fee for 45 minutes. Plan for the private lesson to work like this... You come 15 minutes early to the arranged lesson and settle in. (Get your clay wedged, tools and water ready, workspace adjusted) / 45 minutes of instruction time / You will need to be finished and cleaned up 15 minutes after the instruction has completed. Firing of finished work is an additional fee and will be arranged according to each project. Any projects finished will be your responsibility to pick up within an agreed upon time period. I will supply basic tools and as much guidance as possible! I love teaching and working individually is a great way to pick up skills thoroughly. I'm looking forward to working with you!
